AP/AR Specialist

As the AP/AR Specialist you will be responsible for managing the accounting operations for multiple clients including accounts payable, accounts receiveable, billing, and reconciliations.  You will work closely with the team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and the efficient handling of client’s financial data. This role requires strong financial organization and process management, a high level of attention to detail, , exceptional client servie communication.

Location: Phoenix, Arizona (in-office only - no remote options)

Employment Type: Full time

Salary: $65k

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Own the accounting operations for multiple clients and handle the below tasks for each of them:

  • Review and enter vendor invoices accurately into the system

  • Process vendor payments following approval workflows

  • Maintain vendor communications and resolve queries

  • Generate client invoices and send to clients based on workflows

  • Adhere to any specific billing processes or requirements

  • Project accounting experience is highly desired

  • Monitor AR ageing reports and send weekly AR reports

  • Communication with clients regarding payments

  • Manage client accounting inboxes ensuring queries are handled in a timely manner

  • Provide high level of customer service and communication with our clients

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Proven experience working as an accountant or in a similar role.

  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.

  • High proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.

  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.

  • Integrity and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
